Overview
The main frame is the primary structural housing of a jaw crusher, cast as a single heavy steel casting with integral reinforcing ribs. It supports and aligns all internal crusher components including the eccentric shaft bearings, fixed jaw plate, moving jaw assembly and toggle plate support, and transfers the tremendous crushing forces to the concrete foundation through its base mounting.
Our main frames are cast from ZG270-500 or ZG35CrMo high-strength cast steel , with bearing bores, mounting faces and bolt holes CNC-machined to precise tolerances. Post-casting stress relief treatment ensures dimensional stability, and non-destructive testing verifies casting integrity.
Quality & Application
Each main frame passes comprehensive inspection including dimension verification, non-destructive testing (UT/MT) and surface quality assessment before shipment. Anti-rust primer and industrial paint are applied for corrosion protection.
Standard main frames are manufactured for all common PE and PEX series jaw crusher sizes. Custom dimensions, mounting patterns and reinforcement designs are available for specific crusher configurations and foundation requirements. As the most critical structural component, a properly manufactured main frame is the foundation for crusher reliability, alignment and long service life in mining and quarry applications.
