Overview
The adjustment cap (locking cap) is a critical component of the Symons spring cone crusher adjustment system. It engages with the adjustment ring via precision trapezoidal threads to lock the concave liner position after the discharge gap has been set, preventing unintended movement during heavy crushing operation.
Our adjustment caps are cast from ZG35CrMo alloy cast steel and heat-treated for optimal strength and toughness. The trapezoidal threads are CNC-machined to tight tolerances for smooth engagement and reliable locking, with the thread surface hardened to resist wear and galling.
Quality & Application
Each adjustment cap undergoes thread profile inspection and full dimension verification before shipment. Anti-corrosion industrial paint is applied for protection during storage and ocean freight.
Standard adjustment caps are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom dimensions and thread specifications can be produced from customer technical drawings or physical samples. Widely used in mining, quarry and aggregate crushing operations worldwide.
