Overview
The bowl bearing and housing assembly is a complete bearing unit installed at the bottom of the main frame in a Symons cone crusher. It consists of a precision lead bronze spherical step bearing (bowl bearing / socket liner) fitted into a robust cast steel housing. The spherical inner surface of the bronze bearing provides the lower pivot support for the main shaft ball end, accommodating the shaft's gyratory motion as the eccentric drives the cone head.
Our bowl bearing assemblies feature a ZCuPb20Sn5 / ZCuPb15Sn7 lead bronze bearing with a CNC-machined and lapped spherical surface, pressed or bolted into a ZG270-500 cast steel housing. The complete assembly is supplied pre-fitted and ready for installation, minimizing crusher downtime during replacement.
Quality & Application
Each bowl bearing assembly passes comprehensive inspection including dimension verification, spherical surface profile check and surface roughness measurement before shipment. Anti-rust primer and industrial paint are applied to the housing for corrosion protection.
Standard bowl bearing assemblies are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom spherical radii, housing dimensions and bolt patterns are available for non-standard crusher configurations.
