Overview
The cone head body (crushing cone body) is the core rotating assembly of a Symons cone crusher. It is mounted on the main shaft and driven by the eccentric bushing to gyrate in a circular path. The mantle is fitted onto the conical outer surface of the cone head, and as it gyrates, the mantle compresses rock against the stationary concave liner to perform crushing.
Our cone head bodies are cast from ZG35CrMo high-strength alloy cast steel , with the mantle seat taper, shaft bore and threaded locking surfaces all CNC-machined to precise tolerances. The robust construction withstands the continuous impact and fatigue loads of heavy-duty crushing operations.
Quality & Application
Each cone head body passes comprehensive inspection including dimension verification, surface quality checks and optional non-destructive testing. Anti-rust primer and industrial paint are applied for corrosion protection during storage and transit.
Standard cone head bodies are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom cone angles, heights and mounting interfaces are available for non-standard crusher configurations. As a critical rotating component, a properly manufactured cone head body is essential for crusher reliability, throughput and product quality in mining and quarry operations.
