Overview
The rib guard plate (frame liner) is a wear-resistant component installed on the inner wall of the Symons cone crusher frame. It protects the frame casting from abrasive wear caused by rock particles that rebound from the crushing chamber during operation, preventing costly frame damage and extending the service life of the main crusher structure.
Our rib guard plates are cast from ZGMn13-2 high manganese steel , which work-hardens under impact loading to achieve surface hardness exceeding HB 500, providing excellent resistance to both abrasion and impact in demanding crushing applications.
Quality & Application
Each rib guard plate passes full dimension inspection and surface quality checks before shipment. The bolt-on design enables quick replacement during routine maintenance, minimizing crusher downtime.
Standard rib guard plates are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom thicknesses, profiles and bolt patterns are available for non-standard crusher configurations. Essential wear part for protecting the crusher frame investment in mining, quarry and aggregate operations.
