Overview
The bevel gear is the core power-transfer component of a Symons spring cone crusher, working in pairs with the pinion gear. It converts horizontal motor power into vertical rotational force that drives the main shaft and crushing head, transmitting heavy torque under continuous impact loading.
Our bevel gears are forged from 20CrMnTi alloy steel , then carburized and quenched to achieve a tooth surface hardness of HRC 58-62. Teeth are finish-ground for precise profile accuracy, smooth meshing and low vibration.
Quality & Application
Every gear undergoes hardness testing, tooth profile inspection and full dimension verification before shipment. Black oxide coating provides corrosion protection during storage and transit.
Designed for mining, quarry and hard-rock crushing applications including granite, basalt, iron ore and limestone. Standard stock available for all common Symons cone crusher models; custom gear parameters can be produced from customer drawings or samples.
Key Features
- Forged Alloy Steel Blank: Forging eliminates internal porosity for reliable heavy torque transmission performance.
- Tooth Surface Hardening: Carburizing quenching delivers HRC 58-62 surface hardness and exceptional wear resistance.
- Fine Gear Grinding: High-precision tooth profile reduces shock load, operating noise and tooth breakage risk.
- Perfect Meshing: Stable power transfer extends the service life of the entire transmission group.
- Interchangeable Replacement: Matches standard Symons cone crusher gear installation dimensions precisely.
- Custom Gear Available: We manufacture bevel gears to your gear drawing or physical sample specifications.
