Overview
The frame bottom cover (lower shell cover) is bolted to the bottom of the Symons cone crusher main frame. It serves two critical functions: it provides structural rigidity to the lower frame assembly, and it seals the internal cavity to protect the bevel gear pair, pinion shaft and lubrication system from dust, debris and moisture ingress.
Our frame bottom covers are sand-cast from ZG270-500 or ZG35CrMo cast steel , with the mounting flange, bolt holes and sealing surfaces CNC-machined for a precise fit. Optional non-destructive testing is available for critical applications.
Quality & Application
Each cover passes full dimension inspection on flange flatness, bolt hole positions and sealing surfaces before shipment. Anti-rust primer and industrial paint are applied for corrosion protection during storage and transit.
Standard frame bottom covers are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom dimensions and bolt patterns are available for non-standard crusher configurations. Essential for maintaining crusher integrity and protecting expensive internal transmission components in mining and quarry operations.
