Overview
The tension bolt assembly is the key tensioning component of a Symons spring cone crusher. Working together with the compression spring group, it maintains pre-tension force on the bowl and adjustment ring safety system during crusher operation, bearing frequent alternating tension loads throughout the crushing cycle.
Our tension bolts are forged from 40Cr or 42CrMo alloy steel , quenched and tempered to Grade 10.9 or 12.9 strength, with thread-rolled profiles for superior thread strength. Each complete set includes the bolt body, matched hex nut and washer.
Quality & Application
Every batch of bolts undergoes tensile strength testing and full dimension verification before shipment. Black oxide or zinc plating can be applied for corrosion protection as required.
Standard stock is available for all Symons spring cone crusher sizes including 2ft, 3ft, 4.25ft, 5.5ft and 7ft models. Custom-made tension bolts with specified length, diameter, thread pitch and head style can be produced from customer technical drawings or physical samples.
