Overview
The support sleeve is a heavy cast steel component threaded into the top of the main frame in a Symons cone crusher. It provides structural support and precise alignment for the adjustment ring and bowl assembly, and its external trapezoidal thread engages with the adjustment ring to allow rotational adjustment of the closed-side setting (CSS), controlling the crushed product size.
Our support sleeves are cast from ZG35CrMo or ZG270-500 high-strength cast steel , with the external adjustment thread and mounting surfaces CNC-machined to precise tolerances. The robust construction withstands the static and dynamic loads of continuous crushing operation while maintaining accurate CSS adjustment.
Quality & Application
Each support sleeve passes comprehensive inspection including dimension verification, thread profile check and surface quality assessment before shipment. Anti-rust primer and industrial paint are applied for corrosion protection during storage and transit.
Standard support sleeves are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom diameters, heights and thread pitches are available for non-standard crusher configurations. As a critical structural and adjustment component, a properly manufactured support sleeve is essential for stable crusher operation, accurate CSS control and extended service life in mining and quarry operations.
