Overview
The main shaft assembly is the core rotating component of a spring or hydraulic cone crusher. It carries the crushing head and sustains enormous impact loads during the rock crushing cycle, transferring eccentric motion to compress material between the mantle and concave.
Our main shaft is cast from ZG35CrMo alloy steel , normalized and tempered for optimal strength and toughness. All fitting surfaces for the bevel gear, bronze bushing and head flange are CNC-machined to tight tolerances, ensuring stable running and low vibration on site.
Quality & Application
Every shaft passes full dimension verification before shipment, with magnetic particle inspection available on request. Anti-rust coating is applied for safe storage and ocean freight.
Suitable for hard rock, ore and aggregate processing in mining and quarry operations. We supply standard replacement parts for all common Symons cone crusher sizes, and can produce non-standard customized shaft assemblies from customer technical drawings.
