Overview
The oil collector (oil pan) is installed in the lower frame of a Symons spring cone crusher, directly beneath the bevel gear pair. It collects lubrication oil thrown off by the rotating gears, directs it through internal channels back to the oil sump, and ensures consistent lubrication flow to critical gear and bearing surfaces.
Our oil collectors are cast from ZG230-450 cast steel with a dense, porosity-free structure to prevent oil leakage. The oil ports, mounting flange and sealing surfaces are CNC-machined for precise fit and proper connection to the crusher lubrication system.
Quality & Application
Each oil collector undergoes leak testing and full dimension inspection before shipment. Oil-resistant coating is applied to protect against corrosion and ensure compatibility with industrial lubrication oils.
Standard oil collectors are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom dimensions, oil port configurations and mounting patterns are available for non-standard crusher setups. Critical for maintaining proper lubrication and extending the service life of expensive bevel gears and bearings in mining and quarry operations.
Key Features
- Leak-Proof Casting: Dense cast steel construction with no porosity ensures zero oil leakage under operating pressure.
- Efficient Oil Flow: Optimized internal channels direct lubrication oil to critical gear and bearing contact points.
- Precision Machined Ports: CNC-machined oil inlet/outlet ports ensure proper connection to the lubrication system.
- Protects Gear System: Ensures consistent lubrication to extend bevel gear and bearing service life.
- Pressure Tested: Each unit undergoes leak testing to verify integrity before shipment.
- Custom Configurations: Custom dimensions, oil port positions and mounting patterns to match your crusher.
