Overview
The upper and lower sector plates form the axial thrust bearing assembly in a Symons cone crusher. Installed between the bottom of the eccentric bushing and the frame bottom cover, these bronze sector plates support the full vertical load of the eccentric, cone head and mantle assembly while allowing the eccentric to rotate smoothly with minimal friction.
Our sector plates are centrifugally cast from ZCuPb20Sn5 / ZCuPb15Sn7 lead bronze , which provides superior load-bearing capacity, excellent wear resistance and low friction characteristics. The bearing surfaces are CNC-machined and lapped to precise flatness tolerances for uniform load distribution and optimal oil film formation.
Quality & Application
Each sector plate set passes full dimension inspection, surface flatness verification and surface roughness checks before shipment. Anti-rust oil is applied for protection during storage and ocean freight.
Standard sector plate sets are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom sector angles, thicknesses and diameters are available for non-standard crusher configurations. Regular inspection and replacement of worn sector plates is critical for maintaining proper eccentric alignment and preventing damage to the frame bottom cover and eccentric in mining and quarry operations.
