Overview
The outer eccentric bushing is a lead bronze sleeve pressed or shrink-fitted into the main frame bore of a Symons cone crusher. It provides the radial bearing surface for the rotating eccentric sleeve, ensuring precise alignment and smooth rotation of the eccentric assembly that drives the cone head gyratory motion.
Our outer eccentric bushings are centrifugally cast from ZCuPb20Sn5 / ZCuPb15Sn7 lead bronze , which provides superior load-bearing capacity, excellent wear resistance and low friction characteristics. The inner diameter is CNC-machined and honed to a precise surface finish for optimal oil film formation and running clearance with the eccentric sleeve.
Quality & Application
Each outer eccentric bushing passes full dimension inspection on inner diameter, outer diameter, length and surface roughness before shipment. Anti-rust oil is applied for protection during storage and ocean freight.
Standard outer eccentric bushings are stocked for all common Symons spring cone crusher sizes. Custom dimensions and bronze alloy specifications are available for non-standard crusher configurations. Regular inspection and replacement of worn outer bushings is critical for maintaining proper eccentric alignment and preventing costly frame bore damage in mining and quarry operations.
